Dancing to Help the Homeless

Celebrating 35 years of providing critical services to individuals and families who are homeless!

On Friday, October 14, 2016, the Coalition for the Homeless celebrated our 35th Anniversary by combining our 4th annual fundraiser, Stepping Out for the Homeless® at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. Community Service Awards were presented to Krooth & Altman, LLP, Community Partnership for the Prevention of Homelessness, Calhoun Trash Service Incorporated, and Philip L. Graham Fund for their contributions to improve the quality of life for individuals and families served by the Coalition who are homeless. Marcus Carter, our success story, talked about how the Coalition helped him become a different man and impacted his life. Chris Lawrence, Channel 4 News was our Master of Ceremonies and did a great job! The funds raised from the event were used to continue to support the Coalition’s transitional housing programs for individuals and families with children. We are grateful to our donors; thank you again for your support in helping the Coalition give back to the citizens in our community who are homeless and need our support and understanding.

Gather your friends, family, co-workers and join us for STEPPING OUT FOR THE HOMELESS™ Dance, Friday, October 27, 2017, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the St. Francis Hall, in Washington D.C. Please email Sheila Baker, if you would like information on becoming a sponsor or purchasing a table.
