Jon Bolduc, LICSW

Director of Programs

Jon Bolduc has over three decades of clinical experience working as a social worker in the District of Columbia. He has worked for several well-respected agencies during this time, including Thrive DC, Friendship Place, The Salvation Army – National Capital Area Command, Charlie’s Place, Community Connections, Unity Health Care, and So Others Might Eat (SOME). In previous leadership positions, he has worked to improve, expand, and develop needed social services while incorporating creative and innovative service delivery models and techniques.

Throughout his career, Jon has been dedicated to serving people experiencing homelessness, working early on by providing street outreach to vulnerable, underserved, and hard-to-engage individuals. It was through this work that he became a strong advocate of the Housing First and harm reduction models.

Jon earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from The Catholic University of America – National Catholic School of Social Services. He is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the District of Columbia.

The Homeless Services Hotline is open every day from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m.

If you are in need of free, accessible transportation to shelter, or you see someone outside in need of shelter or a welfare check, call the Homeless Services Hotline at (202) 399-7093 or dial 311. If there is an immediate risk to safety, call 911. When calling, please include the time, the address or location of the sighting, and a description of the person’s appearance. 

During hypothermia season (November 1 - March 31), the Homeless Services Hotline is open 24 hours a day and transportation to shelter is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
