Client Employment Assistance
Building Skills. Creating Opportunities. Supporting Success.
Employment can be an important step toward stability, independence, and permanent housing. Our Employment Assistance Program helps clients prepare for work, connect with opportunities, and build a path toward long-term success. Employment services are available to clients participating in Coalition shelter and transitional housing programs.
Our program offers:
Job readiness and skills workshops
Resume building and interview preparation
Transitional (short-term) job opportunities
Connections to job training and hiring programs
One-on-one coaching and ongoing support
The Employment Assistance Program is offered at Emery Low-Barrier Shelter and Coalition Transitional Housing Programs. For more information on our Employment Assistance program, contact Jerome Miller, Employment Coordinator.
Every story represents a person deserving of safety, stability, and hope.

"Seeing homelessness firsthand in Washington, DC, reinforced for me how important the Coalition's work is. Through shelter, job training, housing assistance, and supportive services, the Coalition helps individuals and families build a path toward self-sufficiency and hope."
