If you’re 18 or older. male or identify as male, and currently facing homelessness in the District of Columbia, Emery provides emergency shelter with supportive social services. The shelter provides 130 beds on a nightly basis, as well as access to case management services, showers, and food. Anyone eligible can take advantage of these services. Intake services start at 7:00 pm nightly.
The Coalition for the Homeless manages the building and collaborates with the KBEC Group.
Living Life Alternative’s Program is the District of Columbia’s first LGBTQ+ Low Barrier shelter serving homeless individuals of the LGBTQ+ community.
